Social Skills Groups

Following Michelle Garcia Winner's Think Social curriculum, The Swain Center offers social skills groups for school-aged children ages 4-7 and 8-14. Older school-aged children are considered on an individual basis. The groups are limited to 4-6 participants and scheduled once weekly for 90 minutes for 16 weeks. The Swain Center for Listening, Communicating and Learning was founded in 1985 in Santa Rosa, California. The professional staff of The Swain Center is comprised of speech-language pathologists holding Masters degrees, licensed by the Board of Medical Quality Assurance, and certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Educational tutors with specialized training in remedial educational problems are members of our professional team as well.
