Social Skills Groups

Following Michelle Garcia Winner's Think Social curriculum, The Swain Center offers social skills groups for school-aged children ages 4-7 and 8-14. Older school-aged children are considered on an individual basis. The groups are limited to 4-6 participants and scheduled once weekly for 90 minutes for 16 weeks. Auditory Processing Disorders - Assessment, Management and Treatment

K.B. is a 5 year 3 month old boy who was evaluated for auditory processing disorder. He has a diagnosis of autism and both receptive and expressive language skills. His history is not significant for chronic ear infections, asthma or allergies. He experiences significant difficulty listening and following instruction in school. He under went 90 hours of Auditory Development Intervention over a 20 week period. His progress is reported below:
