Social Skills Groups

Following Michelle Garcia Winner's Think Social curriculum, The Swain Center offers social skills groups for school-aged children ages 4-7 and 8-14. Older school-aged children are considered on an individual basis. The groups are limited to 4-6 participants and scheduled once weekly for 90 minutes for 16 weeks. Northern California Voice Project

for Parkinson Disease

At least 89% of people with Parkinson’s are at risk of losing their ability to speak and swallow. The Swain Center is launching The Northern California Voice Project for Parkinson Disease.

The Swain Center will be giving three free LSVT® scholarships. A complimentary speech and swallowing screening is required. Participants will be chosen at random by November 30, 2010.
